Yes, three famous buildings in NYC - the World Trade Center (no longer exists), the Empire State Building, and the Chrysler Building - are all in one place. This is photographed with a
Fish eye lens (of course) at
Tobu World Square (東武ワールドスクエア) in Nikko city.
This is an entry for
Sky Watch Friday.
...and it seems so real!... it chills my spine when I remember about the WTC...
ReplyDeleteI can only repeat what Victor has written -- your photo is incredible as always, the memories it evokes sends chills down my spine as well! Have a great weekend, Yoshi!

what an interesting perspective. Happy skywatching.
ReplyDeleteWOW...WOW...WOW!!!! I love this shot. What you did with your fish eye is awesome. I keep trying with mine, but I will be in a nursing home before I can produce a shot like this. This photo brings back many memories of when I used to take 8th graders to NYC in the summers. Super shot!
ReplyDeleteyou had me going there. I have such mixed emotions when I see the WTC buildings. I loved when they were a part of the NYC skyline and I recall the day they fell with great clarity and heartbreak. your photo is magnificent. I love when you use your fish eye. have a great weekend Yoshi!
ReplyDeleteWow. This is GREAT!
ReplyDeleteInteresting Fish Eye Effect. Hope to try it out too. :-)
ReplyDeleteNice photo about these "miniature" buildings. Tobu World Square is an interesting place.

Now, that's a place I'd like to see! have a lovely weekend!
ReplyDeleteThis place is so cool:)) The fish eye gives it an even cooler feel to it....
ReplyDeleteTobu World Square - I should put it in our list of places to visit. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat fish eye shot.
ReplyDeleteA picture of memories- very moving to see these buildings.
Yoshi, we know very well the tragedy of World Trade Center. For me these three buildings standing side by side seem to have the shape of 三尊(main Buddha and two attendants on both sides of him) for the repose of the souls of the deceased.
ReplyDeleteA fish eye lens gives the photo amazing effect!!
I love your photos always. Thank you for sharing.
You really know how to work that fish-eye lens to it's best advantage. That is an excellent shot.
ReplyDeleteGreat photo and nicely framed!
ReplyDeleteWow this is beautiful!
