H-II Rocket Nippon


Photographed at Waku Waku Grandy Science Land in Utsunomiya city, Tochigi prefecture. H-II rocket is a Japanese satellite launch system.

This rocket replica was re-painted last year. We personally prefer the previous version...

    The colourful version looks like an artistic statue but the original looks as if it has a practical use!

    宇宙開発と言うとあのはやぶさの興奮がまだ残っていますが、
    このH-IIロケットも十分活躍してくれましたね!
    I like both of them!
    I'm proud of this H-II rocket and a space probe Hayabusa as a Japanese. :)
